Burning oil
I bought a used 2000 A6 2.7t in March. Since I bought it I have had a few problems with it. I didnt know there was an oil leak when I bought it and one day it started running really rough. I checked the oil because I started smelling burnt oil and it was almost gone. I took it and got diagnostics at the dealer and they said I had an oil leak, coolant leak, anignition module went badso the car was only running on 4 cylinders and I also have to replace my CV boots and maybe the tie rods or the axle. It makes a loud clicking noise when I turnAnyways all that stuff is gonna cost me a fortune.
I fixed the ignition module so the car runs smooth again and I keep adding coolant and oil, but ever since that one day, my car always smells like burnt oil when It is running for a while. I have not gotten an oil change since then. Any ideas on what I might have to do to get rid or this problem. I would hate to have to go spend another $125 for the dealer to check it out again.

Do you get that burnt oil smell through the vents in the cabin when the car is standing still?
It could be leaking/bad valve cover gaskets or a few other seals in the engine that allow oil to drip
onto the exhaust and make it "smell like burning" while the car is running.

Find a good independent shop that works on Audis and have them go over the car. It was probably something you should have done before buying it.
And just replacing oil does not eliminate the need for oil AND filter changes. Your turbos need clean oil. Stick with a regular schedule of 6-8k miles and use a good synthetic (I prefer Mobil1). Since you're in AZ, you may want to run a slightly heavier weight like 10W-40.
It probably leaking oil from the valve gasket orsealsback onto the bell-housing and exhaust. You will continue to have that delightful smell until you get it fixed and the oil burns off.
When you paid for the diagnostics at the dealer, did they tell you where the oil and coolant were leaking?
