Question burnt cd's for bose 6cd changer

i have the 6 disc changer in the trunk and can't for the life of me burn a cd that it will play. i know it only reads cda format. has anyone who has this stereo figured out what i can use to burn my own cd's? i have been able burn cds for it but it takes about 6 minutes between each song in order to hear it. i don't like waiting for ever to hear each song. any ideas? don't say get a new cd player.

i have the same problem + one on top of it lol, the guy i bought my car from put an after market stereo in it, swears it was put in professionally (which it looks like it was) but anytime i hit the power on the thing, my cds wont play, if im listening to FM and hit power on the 6 changer unit, the radio goes to static, if i hit CD on the face plate unit then power on the 6 changer, all i get is static and my cds never play, i can go through all the tracks, and hit play and it will sit there reading 00:00 forever

Are you using CDR or CDRW. Maybe it won't play the RW (rewrite) format.

i use cd-r. it plays bought cds but not exact copies. tried everything (itunes, wmp, roxio, cd now, (data and music). they burn the exact same filetypes but take anywhere from 1-10 min to play. i think the newer cd players recognize newer filetypes. i will see what kind of blanks i was using.
