hi everyone, i have been reading the forums for the past week vigirously trying to find out a few things.

Basically i am looking to buy an 2001 a6 2.7t for about 14,000.... The car has 70,000 miles on it and i was wondering what would be the things to look for as im test driving/ inspecting the vehicle. When i bought my last car there were a few common problems to look for, i was wondering if this model had any major problems around 70,000 miles. Also would it be a good idea to go with some sort of extended warranty?

You didn't search hard enough. Really -- this has been covered many times before. Not trying to bust your chops, but you're looking for important information and you'll get much better info by searching and reading then by asking people to cover an issue that's been done extensively before.
