Hey all-

I just picked up a 2007 A6 Avant a couple weeks ago and had some questions that I can't really seem to find any answers to anywhere.

First off- I tried using the voice command button shortly after I got the car, and was able to use it to dial a phone number (after pressing the button,wait for a single beep, and then say command). Recently, if I try to use it, after pressing the button the radio will mute for about 2 seconds, then emit a double chime (think doorbell-like sound) and resume playing the radio. It will not listen to any commands you shout at it. Bluetooth and phone connectivity all work fine, just not the vehicle voice command. Any thoughts here?

Next up, I have the AMI in the glove box. I got an aftermarket AMI-AUX cable to use with my MP3 player. The MMI shows that it a device is connected and is active, but will not play any music from any device. Maybe a bad cable or something else going on here?
