Good Afternoon,

I was helping my son change the valve cover gasget and the timing chain 1/2 moon and tensioner gasgets on his 99 A6 Quatro . Had both cams plus the tensioner in my hands, the tensioner dropped and smacked the garage floor breaking on of the pads.

Checked on a replacement and that was really a downer... $600... Next, I found a company that provides only the replacement pads...$99. My question.. has anyone used these replacements?

I wasn't aware that they made replacement pads for the tensioners, which company supplies those?
