Hey guys, I have read somewhere that some A6's came with a "warm weather package" , sounds EXCELLENT for where I live (in fact i have no use for cold weather package lol) can this be added to a car without it?

Also, I have seen the cables to "integrate" the iPod , but can you integrate any other kind of MP3 player, im not an Ipod fan and love my Sony Walkman [8D]

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the warm weather package was only a solar sunroof that circulated the hot air out of the car and you couldn't see out of the sunroof while it was closed.

It came with the Push button rear shade and the Sunroof. I have the package in my car, I am in Oklahoma and it does help out.

No...the solar cells cover up the sunroof...but its no big deal to me, as keeping the car cool is more of a priority. Hm...the system, I do not know how it hooks up into the fans to circulate the air, but I do not think that it would be difficult if you know wiring.

teranenrique,

Any luck with the solar panel?
I am thinking about adding it to my car, but I am not sure how it can be done.

Any advice?

Thanks!

The Volvo S80 does this, but uses battery power. It will do it untill battery power is at about 50%, but my god does it help!

I bet the drag the panels add offsets the benefits.

theres a company that makes a window with different color spectrums as a solar collector, id look into that. its much more efficient and doesnt create drag

I have the solar sunroof and it is wonderful on those hot days, especially because my car is dark blue. I have never heard of anyone adding it after the fact.
