ive been wanting these headlights for months!!! and the only place ive seen them was on this german website, and they dont ship to america! i finally found some on the net buuutttt they're for 02-04. is there any way to fit them on my 01? someone please help me, my 19th b-day is on the 19th this month. so its my golden year and i really want these.

 

Can you post a link to the headlights you're considering? It might make a difference.

 

no i couldnt find it on my moms computer and my computer is at my dads house.

 

I'm fairly sure they will fit or at least you'll be able to make them fit. There's some noise floating around that supposedly the corners are different on the fenders, but I really can't seem to spot the difference.

 

The hood, bumper and fenders are different on the face lifted cars (02+). So although you could make them fit, I don't believe they will just bolt in. The only headlights from an 02+ car I know will bolt up are allroad headlights.

Call an autobody shop that specializes in euro cars and ask them. They can look it up in their database.

 

thanks alot that was very helpful. i knew that they changed a little bit from 02-04 but i didn't think the headlights were included. but that was very helpful i'm gonna get a list of shops around me that would know.

 

The allroad headlights, in my opinion, are the best looking OEM C5 A6 headlights. They are, however, hard to come by. I would get some if I could.
