i just went to the garage to start my car and it just wont start, it wont even turn over, the battery is not dead, but everytime i try to start it all the gauges go crazy and the engine make this ta ta ta ta ta noise, maybe its the starter but i dont know

anybody know ????

 

i just started the car by pushing it down a hill, and then shut it back off and it does the same thing, i think its the starter but not sure

 

this is what happens when i try to start it, the lights come on like brake and other things in the gauge cluster, so when i try to start it they just blink like crazy and it makes the taping noise like crazy

 

1) starter
2) generator......

 

also try not to push it, try to use jumper wires or somebody batter to make sure, because the battery may have enought electricity to light up the gauges but not enought to start the car...

 

just want to say that i got the car fixed, it was the battery it was only producing 1 volt, and a new one costed me over $120
just happy that i got it back up running

 

Not a great idea starting a car by push if its a timing belt equipped car. You can easily skip a notch and
throw things wayyyyy off.

Just something to keep in mind for the future.
