Car battery dead - completely dead?

I have an MT6 and the voltimeter is pretty steady at ~14.2 even with load. It may dip a pubie with all the lights, AC fan, and radio going, but not much. More at idle than when driving. The alternators in these are pretty strong. I am going with parasitic draw. I do not know what normal draw is when the car is "off".
Cheap advice is to have Autozone (or equivalent) run a battery and charging system test for free - they do that.
PS - The battery is in front of the firewall, not in the trunk.
