car cover
Since the parents get the garage and I can't seem to convince them to expand it to a 3 car garage and it is fall I was thinking that I should get a car cover. We have a lot of trees around and in the morning it takes me about 5 minutes to get all the leaves off of my car before i can drive it. Also in the winter I was thinking of one so that i can just take all the snow that fell the night before and my wipers wont be frozen...anyone know where i can get a cover? thanks

Put a couple coats of good wax on your car and buy the cheapest, heaviest car cover you can. I can almost guarantee it will become brittle andrip with the extreme cold. So plan on replacing one every year.
If you don't want your wipers to freeze, pull them forward off the windshield. You still have to scrape your windshield, but at least the blades are not stuck in the ice.

As far as the leaves go, just pick up the car cover as planned. If you are worried about your wipers freezing and snow build-up overnight I would just consider a remote car starter and skip the car cover for the winter season. (Still get the car cover for the fall).
Just my logic, but to each his own!

Well, growing up as a troll I definitely understand the Michigan winters. If you're going to be a youper for the season I would definitely consider a remote car starter.
I was in Wisconsin for a few weeks training for the Army earlier this year. It was the morning after the Super Bowl (January) and the power went out in a few spots on base. We all woke up freezing. Several of the guys in my class started their cars and we ran out to them. Those two weeks we were fairly reliant on the remote car starters. We only had to take a 5 minute drive most of the time, never enough time to get the car warmed up, so started up the car up from the building a good 10 or 15 minutes prior. Make sure that you have good range on the transmitter, otherwise it is a waste and you'll still have to go outside. The convenience only truly exists if your car is far away from your door, but still within range of the transmitter.
These can be purchased anywhere between $65 (real cheap) to hundreds of dollars. I don't have one and I can't recommend one for an Audi. Just make sure it works with our existing remote locking system. Thatand transmitter range would bethe most importantaspects to me.
