When i try to play a CD in my Audi A6 (1999) it keeps coming up err2 on my radio. What does this mean and how do I fix this?

It means there is some malfunction in the CD changer unit in your trunk/boot. I think this post on the Audi DIY site could help you in fixing this. There is some trick there with a card to clear a CD error. hope this helps
