Default CD player problems/ Nav?

Hi everyone! I just bought an 05 A6 and I love it. I noticed when I try to play a cd it just skips tracks and songs- it will only play for a split second. This is not a burned CD. The other question I have is can I add Factory Nav to my stock "indash" screen? Thanks~ Joe

I know that I had a similar issue with cd changer and their is a security feature that was enabled. Dealership took care of it so not sure where is it located but it should be easy to find or you can just drop by at service and have them disable security for cd changer.....Not sure about in dash nav

Audi issued a TSB on the issue. Some of the early 2005s had a "problematic" CD player that either had to be replaced entirely or the software upgraded. The security feature problem did not arise until 2006. You can find the TSB on the ebahn or bentley websites.

Default CD player issues!!

Hey everyone, just recently picked up a 2006 A4 2.0T. I believe it is the B7 model. Correct my if im wrong! I'm already experiencing problems the the CDplayer, it won't even load a cd. A message just keeps telling me error or it just doesn't even function sometimes. Any solutions??
