Default CEL

My CEL has been on for a couple days but its been running fine, yesterday the light went off and I parked my car for the night. This morning I went out to the car and I had a huge puddle of antifreeze under my car. The leak wasn't there when I bought the car and I dont know how to find where the leak is coming from. Would this have something to do with the CEL? Its leaking out from the passenger side wheel well (roughly), is it a hose that may be old or something else?

the CEL is a warning there is something wrongand not part specific so yes low coolant will put the CEL on, check all the coolant pipes and the water pump ( mainly leaks when the engine is off ) that's where the pressure has to go instead of the normal cooling way

It would be nice if we knew what engine you have. If it's a 2.7t your secondary water pump might have gone out & is leaking. If you remove the engine cover, look for coolant on top of the intake manifold.
