I have an A6 2.4 avant 2001, recently the passenger footwell was flooded after a heavy down pour, used to happen on my previous a6 all the time.
Anyway the leak is fixed but my central locking will not work at all now.
I took the central locking module out and dried it at the time as it was flooded and most of my problems went away, ie hazards flashing on their own, doors locking and unlocking as i drove, interior lights flashing on and off.But i cant get the central locking to work at all.

I have read about changing the module completely, which i could do easily, but need to know if there is any other programming that needs doing by a technician, or is it simply plug and play????

Hope someone out there has had the same problems and has sorted it out.
