Default Changing Rear Brakes in Audi

I am changing the rear brakes on my A6 and am wondering if the hydraulic pump needs machine pressure to push it back in? I was trying to do it manually and couldn't do it. It is about 20 times as hard compared to any other vehicles I have dealt with. If machine pressure is not needed, is there a specific way to do this?

Thanks in Advance,
Hector.

Not sure, never done mine, have the repair CD on order. Will lookit up when i get it.

Now my Eagle Talon, u actually had to turn the piston counter clockwise to get it to go in. Don't know if the Audi uses this or not.. Don't think so.
