Default Changing Rear Wheel 2000 A6 2.7t

I've changed the front wheels several times, no problem, but have run into an issue changing the rear wheel tonight. There seems to be a center lock on the rear that non of the standard tools I used to remove the front fit into.

Any ideas on how to resolve this???

If there is a locking lug nut you will need the special tool to remove it. Like a key. No idea where you will find it. Maybe it is in your glovebox. See if a local tire/wheel store has one or can loan you one.

It's odd to me because non of the lug nuts lock. I was able to get all of them off but the tire won't budge. (Checked the other rear wheel as well and same thing).

The center bolt is the only thing that I can think of but both front wheels have them but I can get those off without even touching the center bolt.

I'm calling audi to see what can be done. There's nothing on you tube/net about changing tire on an A6 but there's a ton of stuff for replacing wheel bearing and steering wheel... tisk.

UPDATE:

FYI... as I was trying to change the tire in the dark last night I started thinking that it may be a case where I had to kick and pound the tire off. I did not want to do it as I was on uneven ground and we all know how narrow the base on the jack stand is. After seeing that center bolt (never really noticed it on the front wheels) I called it a night to wait until daylight.

This morning I called the Audi dearlership and they confirmed that the rear wheels are just kind of stuck on like that. If you are able to remove all the lug nuts it'll take some kicking and pouding to get the wheel off. I proceeded to move car to even grounds this morning and after about 5-6 bruce lee's it finally fell off. Note, be carefull while doing this as the car will rock on the jack stand.

~DaBat... OUT!~

I see you solved it. The rim was just rusted to the rotor and hub. Before you replace the wheel, wire brush all the contact points and apply a little axle grease around the center hub. I think the lug nuts torque to 95 fl-lbs.

Yes... problem solved. Just needed to wait until daylight to make sure as I didn't want the 3200lbs beast on my foot or anything.

Thanks!
