Default Check Engine Codes - P0411 P1432 P1426 P0102

A6 1998 Quattro 30 Valve
I read the following engine codes off of my car today and need some direction:

P0411
P1432
P1426
P0102

I have had the P0411 code come up before and it goes away for a month or so but these other codes are new.
The other issue I had the car would not start a few weeks ago, I changed the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator and it seems to be working ok now but will still hesitate to start.

Thanks.

Default P0411

This code keeps coming back on, but has not come on in few days. The car would have the code every day.The other codes have not come back.
any ideas on why this code is keeps coming back?

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. Check the tiny hose from the front intake running to mixing valve at the rear top of the motor for any leak. From tha mixing valve, it will split and go into 2 different combination valves at the rear of the head. The combi valves have big shiny head and you can't miss them. Check those vacuum lines. Mine had a leak on the hose going into the bank 2 valve. One last thing to check is the crankcase vent hose going to the secondary air injection pump. It is a big black plastic hose infront of the bank one, and goes down to the secondary injection pump. Then there is another hose going from the secondary injection pump to the airbox. Just make sure all hoses are okay.

FYI, there is a vacuum line diagram on the underside of the hood.

Thanks for the ideas, i will have to check out those places.
I looked under the hood for a vacuum line diagram and there was not one, mine must have been worn off. Would you know where I could find a diagram of the vacuum lines? it would be a great help to me.

Great picture! Thank you. I will check to see if I can find a leak. The check engine light has not come on for a few days now.

If the codes are gone, then you may have fixed the leak when you replaced the fuel pressure regulator. If it still hesitates to start, try simple tune up. Clean MAF, new air filter, and spark plugs if you haven't changed them for awhile.

No more codes have come up in the last few weeks. (Knock on wood)
I am not sure if I am out of the woods or not. Thanks for all of the help.
