There might be a code that can be read by a vag com system. It might not show up on the basic code reader. You could go to an auto parts store and test it. There is an issue there and you need to find out what is causing it.

I went to an auto shop they said they wouldn't read it cause the light wasn't on which is bs. Where can I get a vag com system from?

You need a vag com cable (e..bay or other sites) and there is a basic free software and one you can buy. One company is ross tech. I don't have a code reader, but because I use the same mechanic he will do a quick scan with his computer if I need it.
The car stores codes that are not the standard check engine light codes, so it might be there.
That problem could be so many different things. If you had any work done recently maybe they loosened or accidentally did not reconnect something right.
Do a visual inspection. If not, do a visual inspection, look for loose hose, air intake, etc.
If these are overdue, then could just try them. Fuel filter and spark plugs, air filter. Maybe spark plug wires depending on how old they are. Mass air flow sensor, or PCV loose or clogged.
Just be careful about someone guessing and just throwing money at the problem.

I havent had anything done to it yet except for changing the air filter, oil and oil filter. Ive only owned the car for 6 weeks. I did do a visual check of everything i could think to check. Im gonna invest into the vag com as soon as i get paid. My gfs brother who is a mecanic (dont trust his word that much) thinks it may have something to do with one of my turbos.

Well found out what the problem was. Had a loose hose and a small boost leak. Problem fixed. Thanks a bunch.
