My Check engine light came on today and i went to autozone and used the tool that reads whats wrong. It came out with a code P0101 Maf or VAF CKT Range/Perf. I looked up the code online and it says "Mass or Volume Air Flow Circ Range/Performance ". Can anyone tell me what that means or if anyone knows how to fix it. thanks

 

Unless theres a problem witht he wiring. You need a new mass airflow meter.

 

intake leak/blockage MAF sensor, whats the air filter like "how old" is it blocked?

 

I just bought a K&N filter not too long ago. I brought it to the dealership and they said it was just the sensor and that they just needed to order one. They reset the light and so far so good. it hasn't come back on in a week. We'll see what happens... thanks for the advice though
