Has anyone ever had a chip put in their A6. I have a FWD 2004 A6. What kind of chip would work. What kind of performance will this give my car. Also, about how much would this be to get done. Will this mess up the triptronic shifting. ( i have a manual)

A chip won't do much to an N/A motor; the most it will do is remove the rev limiter and governer. There's also not much in the areaof performance mods for the N/A engines, except for suspension and brakes, unless you wanted a supercharger.Since you're FWD that would mean you have CVT, which won't handle much more power than you already have. malfunction indicator light came on last night in my 2004 audia6 3.0l . brought it todiscount autoparts for free diagnostic test (audi dealer can fit me in untill thursday). Store said it was my speed sensor. Whats a speed sensor and what does it do. I got back in my car to drive home and notcied the light is off on. is this just becuase he reset it. Should i still go to the dealer on thursday. When driving i really cant notice a difference since that light appeared last night. Maybe , difference is so small wont be able to . is this a serious problem to drive on for the next 4 days. also , only have 25 k miles on my car. Is this something the dealership covers with the warrany?
