Default Circle MPH

This site, like lots of others has gone to hell, display wise since I had a computer problem.

Display is almost impossible to use.

Anyhow, got a yellow circle with MPH in it today, second time I've seen it, while accelerating onto a 4 lane from a ramp.

What does the Circle MPH mean? I don't have a book, so can't look it up.

Cheers,

George

What do you mean the site has gone to hell? I don't know what part of your post refers to AudiForums and what part is referring to your car. Please reword and explain what you're talking about.

its an over a set mph warning...so you get a reminder you're going to fast. can't remember how to change the speed...it's in the manual if you can find one

while driving, press and hold the button that changes the clock. Hold it in for a few seconds and it will go away. Hold it in again, and it will set the speed warning for whatever speed you are going.

Pull the button out and you can set the clock.

Gone to hell means that NONE of the Forums I use display the way they used to. This one is very difficult to interpret, and I don't know what to do to fix it.

Probably the last Firefox upgrade I allowed to run. Maybe the crash, I don't know.

Going too fast, I have driven about 80 to get to my G'daughter's Soccer games on time. No prob. Merge onto a 4 lane at 20 MPH and the Circle MPH keeps flicking on and off. Even tried playing with the Cruise Control. No help.

This is very sporadic. Might be a month between instances. Annoying, not knowing what it is.

Cheers,

George

Well, for now it's gone away. Might be because I reset my clock yesterday, and I overlooked the reply from Jeffla. Either that did it or it just went away to come back later.

I mentioned getting onto a 4 lane, but it also did it leaving my drive, so Zero MPH.

Ah, well.

Thanks for the replies.

Cheers,

George
