Default Clear Corner MOD

The orange reflector in my right light is already broken, andthe lightfogs,so i have decided to do the clear corner modand reseal both lights.
The instructions i foundtold me to remove the 3 screws and just slide the headlight out. Then use a heat gun to remove the cover. But the other way told me to take the bumper off. (http://www.audiworld.com/tech/ext44.shtml

i dont remember where i found instructions for the 1st way.. but now im wondering if the bumper need to come off????

and advice would be appreciated!

I have done it both ways. Without removing the bumper is REALLY hard to take them out, believe me, its very easy to break something. Removing the bumper is not that hard so I recommend it that way, it will take you maybe an extra 30 mins and someone else to help you. Putting the headlights back on is kind of hard aswell, you have to play with them a little because its a tight fit and they may stick out some, so just push in and tighen the screws. BY far tho, the hardest thing is removing the 3rd screw on the bottom of the light...good luck tell us how it comes out. I might venture into this mod too.

I never took my bumper off, I went thru the back of the headlight and used a flathead screw driver to break the reflector in half and put taped on the end of the screw driver to pick up the reflector. Didn't damage the lense, was a clean removal. It took about an hour each for me to remove them. It's just all the small screws holding the projector part of the headlight in that's a pain. 3 or 4 screws. All worth it
