How do you release the little clips that hold every electrical plug or sensor? I'm changing my spark plugs and no matter what I try, I've managed to break every clip that holds the plug securely. The coil pack plug clip, the water temp sensor clip, the MAF sensor clip..... Maybe I've already broken them all

 

What kind of clips are you breaking? Surely not the ones with the wire 3/4 the way around them. Those, you squeeze 2 sides of the wire clip and they release. Very well designed. WAY easier than Ford or GM clips. Them, you damned near need a hook tool and a third hand to pry apart.

Once you pull one apart and figure out how it works, they are amazingly simple conections. The best way to describe it is to compress the back end of the clip and pull.
