Default Coilovers

Hey guys, new to the forum but not to the VAG community. My other car is a 95 Jetta 2.0T. I just picked up a 99 A6. Im looking for coilovers but have no idea what brand is best for these cars. Id like to keep my budget around $1300 and need something with a soft comfortable ride as this is my DD. . Whats a great riding coilover in my price range? thanks for the input guys

you're going to track it? or do a lot of aggressive back road/mountain road driving?
If not, I would save $ and get shocks and springs for $800-900. You'll get the lowering/looks, handling improvement for a lot less $. Just my 2 cents.
As for C/O, PSS9s rock but are procey. I think H&Rs are in your price range. Eibach's got a set I believe too

oh I forgot. save $ by buying shocks and springs, and get Hsport sways. GREAT handling improvement.

i love my KW V2s. but, unless you're going to do the install yourself or with some buddies, coilovers are prolly going to put you over your budget.

I've worked at a shop for a little over 7 years, so install is not a problem. I have no plans on tracking it, just looking for a comfortable coil to fill the wheel gap on the wheels im looking at. This car is my DD and needs to get me to work everyday in comfort, which is why im looking for something dampening adjustable. the FK konigsports caught my attention except for the fact that theyre not stainless steel. Is there a comparable coil i can look for?
