computer chip (ECU) modification for new A6
Does anyone know any good chip tuning company for the new A6?
The traditional "CAN" type chip that you just plug in without any actual programming to suit your car is not what i am looking for.
I heard Chiptronic does.
what's the pricing? Thank you for all your help.

Hey there yxc.........I just took delivery of a new A6........2..0 tdi SE........I wanted it chipped and took it to Audi because I wanted the warranty kept intact.
£650 for the MTM ECU upgrade..........made quite a difference.
I spose it depends on how old / new your car is and if the warranty issue is a problem for you or not?

congratulations. glad you are happy w/ the new car and chipping. is it an actual custom programming to your current car condition? or just a "canned" "set" chip? My car is already over the warranty period, so it's ok.
your is a disel turbo model, so it makes a big difference. mine is 2.4 non-turbo, i will be happy to get like 10% increase!! thanks for the comment!

Hi yxc............As I said mine was chipped by Audi, I believe it must be using set parameters.
It gives around a 25% increase which is fantastic, but, as you say, mine is diesel and yours is the petrol variant.
I would certainly highly recommend it to anyone.
I hope you find a reputable company and get a good price to get the job done. Please let us know how you get on.
cheers
