Default Control Arms, Tie Rods and CV Boots- DIY?

I have a 1998 A6Q with 150,000 miles that needs some TLC. I took it in the other day and got quoted $3,000 to replace all the control arms, tie rods, CV boots and the wheel bearings. I would consider myself fairly competent when it comes to working on cars, but all my experience comes from working on Hondas. With all the right tools, should I be able to bang this out in a weekend? Thanks in advance.
