Default Coolant leak from T-piece

Ok...so my t-piece broke and I replaced it. Well after I did it started leaking from two places around it...here are some pictures.

What can I do to stop it? Use different clamps? The kind that I can screw to tighten?

Try screw type clamps, usually you have to replace the hoses cause they leak through the fibers inside the hose which you can't stop.

But, it did not leak before I changed the T-piece...so could I have damaged the fibers?

Or do you think that the screw type clamps might work?

And it is a pretty significant leak...one which I do not think that the fibers could handle...maybe. I do not know much about this.

Taking them off is what breaks them, once you twist the hose to get it off the T you tear the fibers.

Well I will give the screw type clamps a try. If not what are the hoses called and are they easy to replace? Also where could I get them?

Yeah try the clamps first, they are highly replaced items and we stock them at most dealers.
They will give you a picture off ETKA in the parts department to identify the hoses but more than likely the parts guy will know which hoses they are.

Yeah, I do not know if you can tell or not, but it seems that the original clamps are not as tight on there as before. I lined them up with the indentions and they are about 2 mm not as tight.

Also, is it possible to replace the plastic T with something from a different material? If, so what would be recommended?

The smaller factory clamps really do suck, if you weren't too aggressive with removing the plastic T you have about a 50% chancea screw type clamp will fix it.

I wasnt at all. I just try to get it off gently without breaking the T- Also, is it possible to replace the plastic T with something from a different material? If, so what would be recommended?

And how much do these hoses go for? Would you happen to know?

Also, if it was leaking through the threads would it be a bad leak? Mine is pretty significant.
