Coolant temp sensor

hey guys, i have a 99 audi A6 non-quattro and I got the infamous check engine light. It was the coolant temp sensor. I was wondering if i could just replace it myself. any suggestions? thank you

It's a fairly easy DIY. Be sure to use "Universal" or Audi specific coolant.

Search the forum and it will do you wonders. And yes it is easy. Just get the sensor, clip and an o-ring to go along with...
