Correct tyre pressures
Hi there,
Can someone help me. I have just bought an Audi A6 Quattro Avant 3 litre auto.
The tyres are at odds with the label on the fuel flap. They are:
225Z40ZR18 88W
What front and rear pressure should I be running these at for lightly loaded and full load?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.
Keith

I was under the impression that the psi was on a label on the front pillar? I would assume follwing that unless tires are different than stock.
You can always call the tire manufacturer for best results. Tires and gas are expensive enought to spedn a few moments making the call.

On my A6 Avant 2005 year, the tyre pressure are shown on the underside of the fuel flap. But the ones fitted are not listed, so I guess a previous owner has modified for some reason.
The wheels are 18" and the tyres seem very low profile. Decent ride though. Just wanted to get the pressures right.

Audi rs4 B7 tyre pressures
I have just got 4 new pirellis on the 19s but I think they are lower profile and I can't get the check tyre pressures warning away. I set it back to the default settings, the let the tyre pressures down gradually waiting on the warning light to go away then I refilled them one by one gradually increasing the psi hoping the light would go away now thy are set back to the recommended psi as stated on the side door and the warning light still hasn't went away please help
