Has anyone out there ever torqued the crankshaft bolt on a A6. I torqued it to 148 ft-lbs, then attempted to put the additional 1/2 turn on it. I was able with the assistance of a friend was able to give a 1/4 turn more, I was afraid that the crank lock pin might shear (the crank looked like it was attempting to turn). I checked to see how much the torque increased using the torque wrench and found that with the 1/4 turn more the torque increased to 250 + ft-lbs.
