Letting the lady do the calculations doesn't always help. Here is my story....

One of the reason's I sold my previous SUV was because the gas mileage wasn't all that great. Actually about 8-10 mpg in city driving. Hwy was upto 15.5 mpg. But the fuel was cheap 91 Octane. After a few discussions on spending too much on the vehicle, I convinced her that a nice Audi would consume less gas.

Well, true in the Audi,I get about 15.8 mpg in City, but with expensive gas, 95 Oct, it works out a bit more expensive where I am [sm=badidea.gif].

Having learnt my lesson, I no longer discuss gas mileage with the wife.... and I get to enjoy the Audi [sm=gears.gif]

 

women spend money better that's a fact men love anything big like engines and leave calculations to the other half

 

It's not about the calculation (although I agree with techbod) it's about the relationship.

Get her involved and you will be happy for a lifetime - leave her out and -- well you know!
