Default Cylinder misfires

I'm getting cylinder 6 misfire sporadically, and random/multiple cylinder misfire codes sporadically as well. Car studders like bad gas symptoms but i don't think it's that as i've added dry gas and new gas when it got down halfway.

Spark plugs are overdue: replaced at ~100k, now 140k
I'm going to replace these tomorrow if i have time.

If that doesn't help what's the next step? How do you check if the coils are good? I have a voltmeter but don't know what to test.
It's a 2000 2.8L avant.

What else to look for vacuum leaks?

Also my O2 sensors need replacement...been lazy about it since it's cold as sh*t out and i'm cheap.

How bad is it to drive w/ misfires and toasted O2 sensors?

Any help appreciated. - thanks

Replaced the plugs...lots of carbon build up on the old ones. Still didn't fix the misfire problem though.

Next up, got a new coil pack coming. Paid $90 bucks. Would you recommend replacing the wires too? They'll be at least $100. I got the car at 90k and doubt they've ever been replaced, think it's worth it?

I've received letters from Audi about problems with coil packs on both my A6 and 2003 A4 3.0l. May be worth contacting your local dealer. A4 tested clean, although they replaced the cats under warranty. I have had zero ignition problems with my A6 and at 164k miles don't want the dealer messing with it.
