i hammered it at the light and in the higher rpm range get what i believe to be a faint whistling/turbo spooling noise. Never happened before. I mean id be more than happy if someone dropped a 2.7 in my car, but id atleast like to know about it beforehand lol. Any ideas? Im puzzled..

 

lol its probably just the intake sucking in air. my 2.8 does it too!
mine does it the loudest in 3rd gear at ~30MPH.... it does kinda sound like turbo. pretty sweet!

 

it seems like its coming from the driver side though, and its never done it before. i have had my car since july, and trust me this isnt the 1st time ive hammered it lol.

 

um vac hose maybe????
