Is a dirty MAF sensor the culprit?

Is a dirty MAF sensor the culprit?
I recently had to get at my passenger side valve cover to tighten because a little was seeping out of the bottom rear area of the gasket, it seemed like it was a little loose. Anyway, prior to this I was getting a code for both "bank 1 and bank2 air flow too low....as well as a MAF code and some O2 code." The code would come on every time I started the vehicle in cold weather and he secondary air pump came on then off. I also blew out the air filter as much I could until I can buy a new one.
Well, when I took out the air cleaner as well as all the objects and wires in the way of the valve cover...I cleaned the MAF as well...I figured why not. Anyway, as for two days the code or CEF light has not returned.
Does anyone have any idea what I may have done to prevent this or fix the issue????? I am baffled!

it's pretty easy. you definitely need to identify which are your vacuum lines, it isn't hard they are pretty distinctive. Measure, cut, replace. the hardest part, IMO, is the clamping.

I put some good ole duck tape around it, but it still throwing codes. p1411 and p1423.....is there any directions on replacing this vacuum hose and can I use regular vacuum hose or do I need OEN Audi rubber/metal hose. thanks
