I'm looking to buy some A8 rims for my 01 A6 but i'm not exactly sure that.....

1. They would fit
2. Would they fu%$ up the transmission (I'm lookin to get the 19" ones)
3. And where exactly would I buy these rims for cheap?
4. If I bought the replica's, what is different between the replica and the actual factory rim?

I asked the dealer when I bought the car how much those rims cost, and he told me they run for 1500 a rim. Now I'm not that kind of baller....so thats pretty expensive.
Any info of any kind would help....i appreciate it guys.

Why not just get some other after-market rims and have your A6 look different from everybody elses.I paid $405 on Ebay for these rims (double click on pic to enlarge)

because I'd rather have the A8 rims......its just personal preference.....dats all

and i dont see many audi's like that around chicago....its mostly benz's and bimmer's around here that get hooked up

whew....thats sexy. Thats what i'm gonna get on my A6.....so imagine that ride, with some chrome trimmings, and 20% tints all around

This is gonna make me wanna get the rims before the winter even starts!! I'm planning on buying them in a few months right before spring rolls around...but damn, now I want to buy em now and have em shipped next day!

what do you suggest for Chicago weather (basically, cold winters, icey tempatures, windy conditions, but a nice summer ) ??
