Hi Guys,

As above really. The service indicator has come up on my '98 A6 2.8 Quattro Avant and I need to do the service myself to keep costs down (plus I've lost the service book, so the FSH it used to have has now gone, so there won't be any knock on in value). I have already done the front pads and a couple of other things but does anyone know what the dealer would inspect or change if I took it to them for a service? The car has done 99,899miles in case that helps?

read the sticky for the 2.7t. I would expect to need timing belt and water pump, plugs, oil, filters, 02 sensors, possibly control arms and tie rod ends, a seafoam treatment, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff that should be inspected.
