DUAL EXHAUST TO A SINGLE EXHAUST
JUST WANTED TO GET PEOPLES OPINIONS ON THIS.
I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS DONE A SINGLE EXHAUST CONVERSION ON THEIR A6? I KNOW THE S4'S ARE SET AS A SINGLE EXHAUST. IS THERE A DIFFERENCE?
THIS WAS SOMETHING THAT I WAS POSSIBLY CONSIDERING BUT I DON'T WANT IT TO SOUND LIKE A RICER [:@]

Why would you want to dothat? From my very limited knowledge of back pressure and exhaust, only motorcycles profit performance wise by going to a single pipe. Cars need more room to breathe. Why slow up the process by taking away one of it's nostrils???? Just my $.02

Precisely what I was wondering... Plus dual exhaust looks super sexy on the A6, too bad I have the hidden tips...

It was just an idea, nothing that I planning on doing. Just curious was all. I understand the whole back pressure and so on but it was something that I wanted to bring up to see if anyone has thought or tried it. I'm happy with my exhaust system now, just wanted input.
