Didn't the car come with a manual?
If you don't have a manual and since I think not too many ppl around here own a 2007 WITH a manual, then your best bet is to call an Audi dealership.
I can't see why they wouldn't have the courtesy to tell you where the emergency release is. Is not like they would let escape a big secret.

We found out at the gas station the the door locks MUST be UNlocked for the gas door to open.

Just picked my 2002 A6 2.7t up from a bank. It was a repo. No owners manual. Trying to figure things out by the joining this forum. Any and all help IS appreciated.

Johnielake, use the search first and then ask away. Welcome to the joy and frustration of OOOO ownership.

Did they repo your 2007 and leave you with a 2002?

Shiaaaaaaaat...I could have told you that solely based on my old C4...LOL
I was thinking C5/C6s got so much fancier with some miraculous hidden safety release.
Welcome to the forum, btw.

I think there is some kind of emergency release in the trunk behind the trim in case the locking solenoid fails

That is the beauty of Audi design. Door locked / unlocked & gas door also, no need another lever or button.
