I am having my transmission replaced in my 2002 A6 2.7t. I will be replacing most coolant hoses and oil cooler hose. The mechanic says the turbo was dry inside n seemed to be ok. He did notice oil build up in the intercooler for both sides. What does that mean? I am also changing valve cover gasket. Mechanic says it might be good idea to change the starter since engine is out? Thoughts recommendations ?
