Default ESP

Should I be driving my A6 with the ESP on or off in normal conditions? Or is it just a bad weather device? Thanks....

I haven't ever really turned mine on in bad weather! I think it can activate automatically though because when it snowed and iced over on Friday night I tried to turn and wheels slipped a little and the light come on in my dash.

it is ON as a default and CAN BE turned off by pressing the button...
UNless you need to to get out of slippery condition or you want to do a launch for example, I would leave it on. it does not hurt to have it on but can save your butt.

Im sure its automatic mode but since I dont have it that's a guess, ESP (electronic stability program ) if switched on would correct your driving issues automatically like the Subaru impreza ( a bit like a girly button ) no offence to the opposite sex because we cant live without the arguments
