i have a 2003 A6 3.0; yesterday the alarm mysteriously went off a few times on its own. Two times i had the car locked and the third time the car was unlocked. I was wondering if anyone else has come across this problem and was able to resolve this issue.

Luckily this happened around 7pm and not 3am. I'm hoping it was just an freak thing and doesnt turn itself into an issue.
