Default fan sound

Hi,

I am driving 2.8 quattro avant manual

I have question is it normal for this kinda car to make such a noise then its hot, click URL (
). Its filmed after a ride home from work, water temp 90C oil 100C, so its perfectly normal but fan clutch is engaded I understand its normal but is it normal for a fan to make so much noise ?

I have replaced fan clutch, only one fan blade is damaged (1:12 far left on a video) so it is not impossible for one fan blade to make such a noise.

Also after clutch engades you can feel the car become much more slower less responsive.

SO.... whats wrong or nothing is wrong ? is it normal for this car to behave like this or is something wrong whit fan blades or maybe something else looking foward for your suggestions

It looks like there is extra play when you move the fan by hand. The blades should be able to flex a little by hand, however the clutch itself should not be moving as seen in your video.

You might have to torque it down more in order to reduce that play. These can be difficult to do with the front of the car not in service position since there is little room.
