Mine lasted less than 5,000 miles and so will yours. FCPGroton has the better kits available and you should remove yours and trade them for the extra cost kit. Your time might not be valuable to you but mine is to me. Despite what FCP says, their house kits are crap. They DO have excellent customer service, but stick with the name brands.

And don't forget, you need an aligment EVERY TIME you replace a control arm. Add that into your calculations and the $250 you "saved" gets spent pretty quickly!

Jeffla,

We take all customers concerns very seriously. The only thing I would request is to be specific on the product and manufacturer that you experienced issues with. We sell over 150 brands of products , from everything to aftermarket to Genuine Audi/VW. It's nearly impossible to address concerns or quality issues that are this vague.

I would need to know the manufacturer of the part you received, the order number, name etc and I will be happy to look into this for you.

I appreciate it!

Bob,

I appreciate the feedback and we do take these complaints seriously, but I do believe that you are making a statement on an isolated incident - this is not the general consensus or feedback from the community. Like I stated before and have shown, we have hundreds of A4,A6, and S4 customers that are running our kits for over 50,000 miles. This is one of our most popular items and we have been through rigorous quality control and r&D on them. I do see that you purchased a kit in 2008, and we haven't received any phone from you expressing failure (just ball joint that was actually incorrect and we did promptly replace - steel and aluminum uprights take different lower control arms)

I did give you a call at the phone number on file, but if you would like to call and discuss this I am available at 877-634-0063 ext 202. If you feel the product is defective, I have no problem replacing it for you.

Regards,

The part #:=4d0498998
Order #:=22471
Manufacturer: listed as unknown and I don't remember
Order date:08/10/2008 installed ~ 10 2008

Part description: Audi A4 A6 VW Passat Control Arms Kit S4 Upgrade with hardware (4D0498998)

I see you now offer a lifetime warranty, would that apply to my order?
