So I am going to buy one of the control arm kits from FCP groton over on audizine, I was just wondering which option I should get? Tie rod end, full tie rod, or full metal tie rods? They are 30$ more each time... In reality I was just looking for control arms but it's such a good deal I figured I might as well get it all...

 

I personally recommended FCP's stuff, I got a full front suspension rebuild kit from their ebay store for $250.00 shipped that had all 8 control arms, both tie rod ends and both sway bar links. Got it installed about this time last year and have had no issues thus far.

 

wow I beat the devil to this one! A lot of us from central NY area have put them in and I have yet to hear of any problems. Definitely go for the upgraded TRE's

 

So its worth it to go for the full metal tie rods?

 

Got a link to where you buy that from? I need to do control rods this summer.

 

I found FCP on eBay (the screenname is fcponline or something like that), and they were selling the kit for $242.10 with free shipping (8 CAs, new TREs, and new swaybar end links). At the bottom of the auction page, they list a phone number. I called and was given the price on eBay including the free shipping, and I ordered over the phone (just had to give them the auction number so they could adjust the available quantity). 30 hours later, they were on my doorstep

wow. thank you for bring this up i have to order control arms like within the next week, i was gonna pay like 4 something for something i could get for like 3.
