Well the past two months I've wanted nothing to do with my 01 2.7T. I've brought it to 3 machanics including 1 Audi dealership about a certain sound my Audi makes. I've also posted on these forums several times about this sound (sounds like a truck when driving) and I couldn't get a clear answer. BUT! There is this shop about a 2min drive from my house who I always pass by and always said I should bring my car here. So I did, the machanic heard the sound told me to shut my engine off, he put his hand on the fan clutch, and told me to rev it.....POOF sounds gone lol.....

Fate man, I was looking at other cars this past weekend just beucase my audi made that horrific sound, now that I finally know what it is I am very excited.

Also, he told me it would cost $400 total for FAN CLUTH and BLADE (and installation)...Is that a good price?
