Default Friday Night Right Turn Squeak!!

Murphy's Law: If someone who knows nothing about cars is to have a problem...it is generally on a weekend! I posted for the 1st time two weeks ago...about a "Coolant Warning Light" coming on. Everyone was very helpful...and...yes...it did require a new thermostat! Now that I paid THAT bill...I have a new problem. High pitched squeak occurs when I make a right hand turn. Never hear it at any other time. I have new tires...fairly new brakes....so what new mechanical failure do I get to deal with THIS weekend??? Help this mechanically-challenged woman please!!

At what speeds do you hear the sound? Is it freeway or around town? It could be a number of things..Brakesor a cv joint. How many miles are on the car.

this may sound ridiculous, but check the back of the splash plate under the car. my girlfriends a4 was making a terrible squeal everywhere she would drive, especially when driving slow or over bumps. she even took it to a audi/vw shop and they told her she should change her entire suspension. later, her splash plate was dragging (some bolt holes on it corroded away so it was hanging).i took the whole thing off, and the noise is no more! hopefully that is all thats wrong with yours too. weird thing is, it only used to do it when she would turn the wheel, then it gradually got worse, good luck!
