hey new to the forum, but could use some help. anyone no where i can find cheap 2000 a6 front bumper? also any suggestions on what to with faulty trunk sensor?

 

Be more specific with your trunk issue, I'm not sure what you mean. As for body parts, I have no idea, but I'm sure someone else will.

 

isn't someone selling a whole bunch of parts on this forum including a front bumper ? I didn't even know the car HAD a trunk sensor .. what does it do .. check to see if there is a body in there ?

 

the deal with the trunk sensor, it will come up in the info center saying its open but the trunk is still closed. Even when opening and shutting the trunk again it still says its open, so im not sure if its wiring or something but i need to figure it out.

 

ah ,,,, I see .. can't remember where the sensor is . i think it is part of the closure mechanism .. if it is in the trunk lid itself i will be betting on the wiring where it flexes.

 

i happend to check mine last night ... plunger is in the lid ( only Audi would do that, place as many sensors as they can on a flexible wiring harness ) . anyway i think your in for a harness repair , especuilly if there are other weird electical things going on . i did this already once in may Audi 90 . a PITA but doable.
