Default Front suspension

Total newbie... We kept our 2008 A6 S line for our kids to drive when we bought new vehicles in November. It now needs some suspension work and a wheel bearing at 115k miles. I believe it needs control arms and sway bar links?Having payed to replace a wheel bearing in the past with genuine Audi parts I'm wondering how everyone feels about aftermarket parts and if they are a viable option what would one recommend.

Aftermarket parts are great. Especially if you buy them from OES (Original Equipment Suppliers). They are genuine parts without the 4 rings and the price to match.

Since we're talking about 115k car for your kids, aftermarket is DEFINITELY the way to go. There are some rare occasions were OE is the right call, but with OES that occasion is ultra rare.

I would go ahead and buy parts from http://www.fcpeuro.com They source many quality parts and have a LIFETIME warranty on all parts (even oil!)
