Default You can mix fuel grades, ya know

Often overlooked...

A 50-50 mixture does not just split the octane level. Rather, the chemistry of the mixture raises the octane level about 65% toward the higher number.

I put in one third to half of 93 octane and the rest 87 octane. This gives me 90 - 91.

You can also buy a bottle of octane booster and add that to a tank of low octane. I carry a bottle when I'm traveling to areas of unknown fuel supply.
