FYI: SYLVANIA FOG LIGHT
So one of my fog lights burnt out yesterday. I tasked myself to replace it today. End result mission accomplished...
BUT! I decided to just put Silverstars. So i went to the local parts store and picked up the reccommed H3ST bulbs... I then return, got everything taken around and the new bulb in; although it looked odd compared to the bulb i took out... the old blub had two male ends off the base, the new bulb had one male end off a wire off the base, didnt think anything of it... till it didnt work, then i though bad bulb, these are mass produced. tried the second no dice. came in side check Sylvania's website... it also says for the A6 to use H3ST bulb. I then return to the store in search of the bulb matching the two male end setup. This is the H7ST bulb!!
So after returning home again I finish the job, then do the quick Fog light mod (looks great by the way) and allset.
I just took a quick look again at the Sylvania website and the RS6 is supposed to use the H7ST bulb. I found that interesting.

Let me say on the behalf of people, like myself, that have no patience...THANK YOU! I don't know about anyone else but the closest parts store to my house is 30 Minutes away...so I'm putting a note to self in my glove box so that I'm not extremely angry when I try to replace a burnt out fog light.
